male black and white barn cat

Twister - ID #12

Mr Twister is 2 years old and looking to start a new career as a barn mouser! He is not happy being in a cage and sometimes he bites so a family home might not work for him. He would love the chance to live on your farm; all you have to do is proved me with daily food and a heated shelter to survive. He will be neutered and vaccinated for rabies under through our Barn Cat Program.

Rayo - ID #45

Rayo is looking for a perfect home where he can be the center of attention. He is 8 years old and was surrendered to us after a couple nipping incidents with his previous family.

Rayo needs a home that understands the needs of a very energetic Jack Russell. Rayo was recently diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. There is no cure but it can be managed with life time medication. A new owner will need to be prepared for monthly prescription refills, and monthly blood work until the proper dosage is figured out.

When it comes to nipping - he doesn't clap down hard but he will break the skin. Rayo can never be trusted around children as most of his incidents happened with them. He will nip strangers and people he does not trust who try to pick him up. We are starting him on calming medication to help with his behavior.

Rayo does like dogs his size or smaller but we are recommending he be the only pet in the home. This will give him one on one training with his new family. We do not want him to pick up any more bad habits from another dog. Rayo cannot be around bigger dogs as he tries to challenge them.

Rayo's adoption fee is $140.00. Rayo's vaccines are up to date, as well as heart wormed tested negative. He will be neutered upon adoption. Since he is an 8 year old intact male a new family can expect some marking in the house until the testosterone has left his system. We strongly recommend that any family who adopts Rayo takes him to a professional trainer.
