Temporary Closure of a section of Moore Street and the Transit Building
Moore Street from Talbot Street to southward to the Moore Street parking lot will be closed temporarily starting on September 28, 2016.
Residents will be able to purchase bus tickets and passes at City Hall, 545 Talbot Street in the Customer Service Area from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (except Holidays).
The City regrets having to put these measures in place but at the same time it wants to ensure the safety of its residents. Going forward, the closures will be review in relationship to the status of the unsafe conditions of the building.
We are excited to announce that construction of the Gateway Roundabout at the Sunset Drive and Wellington Road intersection will be starting the week of March 27th with completion by the end of June.
Effective March 21, 2017 the Community Recycling Centre will be returning to its full time operating hours. The site will be open Tuesday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m to 3 p.m. Household hazardous waste is accepted on Saturdays only.

The First Avenue Widening project between Talbot Street and Steele Street will start the week of March 13 and be completed in June.
